In the article written by Doug Duecy he talks to the coming college students and those in high school deciding if they should go to college or not. It sounds like a plea to college students and future college students that jobs are getting harder and more students are needed. The better education children get the better opportunities they have for themselves. A plan is proposed on haw to increase college grads and the education system in arizona. 

Entry #6: College Classes

Hey Guys,

Welcome back to my blog or if this is your first time reading any of my blog posts Welcome to my blog.If you are in college or will be in college in the future this blog is going to be a helpful guide to succeeding in college classes. Throughout the 2 years I've been attending college some of the college classes I have taken have helped me not only for college but have given me life long lessons that I have learned through the class. 

My first semester I had taken mat151 which is a coulee algebra class and I learned almost as much about life skills as I did math skills. Professor Schilling is one of the most influential math professors i had ever had, he went above and beyond to truly make sure his students were all succeeding and if we didn't understand something that he would take time out of the day to make sure the whole class understood what he was talking about before moving onto the next topic. 

Second semester I found myself in a psychology class and absolutely loved it. I learned a tremendous amount about study skills. I learned about the best ways to study, and that teaching is more of a help to study then just re reading the material. My professor was such a kind hearted lady that was willing to help you with anything at all if you came looking for help. 

In my class last semester i had had the best english professor that i had ever had in my life. Before her class i had struggled with writing a tremendous amount. My teachers in high school graded by this unwritten rules of what sentences should have certain things in them. Im not the plug and chug girl. I have a mind of my own and loads of creativity to flow out freely. She helped me develop into a better writer .so if you are in college right now know that you will learn way more than the class guidelines given the right instructors they will challenge you but make you a better rounded person in the end.

Entry #3: Arms of an Angel

Hey Guys,

Welcome back to my blog or if this is your first time reading any of my blog posts Welcome to my blog. We all can admit that there has been at east once in out lifetime where you've been watching TV with someone and the dreaded commercial. Yes I'm pretty sure you know exactly which commercial I am talking about. If you don't just take a few minutes to watch the commercial, don't worry I've linked it below for you. 

Now that you've seen the commercial or have had sad flashbacks you understand exactly what I'm talking about. The sad dog commercial, that just shows all these dogs that need help and homes. This taps into the readers or watchers pathos state. Pathos is the appeal to emotion and triggering an emotional response. This is a form of slanted reporting due to the fact that they don't show or hare numbers of dogs that it helps and the amount of dogs that are in safe homes. This advertisement is slanted due to the fact of lack of information and biases. It is also due to the fact that it doesn't use ethos and logos it relies purely on pathos to persuade its watchers to pay money to this cause.
This video targets those compassionate sympathetic people that just want to care for everyone. 

Entry #4. Music and Lyrics.

Welcome back to my blog or if this is your first time reading any of my blog posts Welcome to my blog. Today I'm sharing with all of you about music. In todays society there are many genres of music all of them ranging from heavy metal to alternative to jazz to gospel and country. Each one has a different sound and sings to a different ear. These artists knowingly make music for people knowing there is at least somebody that doesn't like their sound. That being said A few of my favorite music genres are alternative, pop, hip-hop. Each of these have a unique sound and appeal to different people. Some of my favorite alternative artists are Panic at the Disco, their song "Death of a Bachelor" is one of my favorites because of the lyrics behind it. The main singer Brendon Urie says "the lace in your dress tangles my neck, how do I live the death of a bachelor?" meaning that getting married is strangling his bachelorhood.

Another one of my favorite alternative artists are Halsey. My favorite album of hers is "BADLANDS". This album is on of my favorite albums to listen to when I am in a great mood turn the music up super loud and just sing along. Her music is definitely "out there".

Panic at the disco and Halsey are the main two alternative artists I've been listening to lately. They definately are on repeat more often the not.  

Entry #2 : Beyond College

Welcome back to my blog or if this is your first time reading any of my blog posts Welcome to my blog. Today I'm going to be talking about my passion. Beyond college there are many jobs for various people but my dream job is interior design. Im not sure if its the fashion element or the pure love for designing rooms that people wouldn't of even thought of. Interior design needs an eye. Some people just have it and others do not. Architecture and interior design can go hand and hand just depending on the degree. Both of which I enjoy learning about. If i could pick the amount of money I would make a year I would hands down chose this as my career. 

Entry #1. About Other Blogs

Hey Guys

Welcome back to my blog or if this is your first time reading any of my blog posts Welcome to my blog. I am going to talk about my thoughts and feelings about blogs. While starting an English course I had found out on the first day that we had a blog project which I was super stoked about. I absolutely love blogs because I can just take time out of my day to relax and sit and write about the life experiences I've had without a care in the world because only select people can read my personal blog entries this is due to the fact that only select people know about my personal blog. Well I am here to inform you that this is my Blog Project blog so I am writing for school purposes which also helps my creative writing and expressing myself through another form of blogging. Blog are such a great way to just sit at your computer and type out all of your frustrations and if you don't want the world to read it then you just hit a backspace key until it disappears. There are so many types of blogs out there so don't just think that there isn't a blog that can relate to you in someway. Upon the first blog assignment I had read a food blog that I enjoyed 1.Because who doesn't love food. And 2. because it wasn't just a website it was a blog where a Clean eating Gal was writing healthy recipes for her readers. If you don't love blogs as much as I do you probably haven't found the right blog style for you.

Intro

Hey All, 

So if you have made it here then you are probably in my English class... thus enduring the blog project. However, I absolutely love blogs. I have a personal blog of my own and hopefully this blog will help me tremendously improve my writing on my personal blog. A little bit about myself is I am interested in forensics science and becoming a forensic analyst, however I am also very interested in interior design. You should remember that for the future in case you need me to decorate your house. Interior design is my passion but it doesn't promise a solid income, so I'm studying forensics because I enjoy solving puzzles. Some of my hobbies include traveling I've been to 19 states. I also love the beach and surfing that is my getaway from all the crazy in life. The beach is just so relaxing and if you have never been to the ocean its beautiful the vast deep blue with magnificent creatures that live in it. To some the ocean is scary but it is so intriguing the animals that can devour you in seconds and those that are so friendly, because of this I have so much respect for the ocean. I also enjoy blogging as I said before. I started blogging when I got a new job and didn't know anybody so I started a blog and wrote in it almost every day then shared it with who I had become friends with. Blogs are super relaxing for me and I started a portion of my blog about "Good Phoenix Eats" about all of the incredible food places I've eaten at in Phoenix. These places consisted of hole in the wall eats to fine dining eats and all of those in between. That’s a little about myself
